All proceeds from the event will advance the future restoration of prairies, woodlands, and wetlands that contain a variety of native plants and support native animal species-recovery programs, including the Blanding's turtle, freshwater mussels, and Hine's emerald dragonfly.

More than 5.5 million visitors connect to nature at the preserves each year to exercise, relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy their favorite outdoor activities.
