Anglers Reel in Prizes at Annual Hard Water Classic

David Koldoff, of Warrenville, caught the big fish of the day with a 26 5/8-inch northern pike at the 2016 Hard Water Classic.

A Warrenville man caught a 26 5/8-inch northern pike to win the biggest catch of the day and the biggest northern pike at this year’s Hard Water Classic last weekend.

An estimated 172 anglers of all ages participated at Chicagoland’s largest ice-fishing tournament on Silver Lake at Blackwell Forest Preserve in Warrenville.
