Two New Board Members Appointed to Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County
(Feb. 14, 2017) — Jennifer Martyn of Woodridge and Scott Hardek of Elmhurst have been appointed to the board of directors of the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, the District’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit support group.
Martyn has practiced law in DuPage County for 20 years and is a principal in the law firm of Puchalski & Martyn in Wheaton. She serves as the deputy public guardian and deputy public administrator for DuPage County and has served as a member of DuPage County Elder Abuse and Neglect Multidisciplinary Team.
Hardek is a partner in the Lisle law firm of Dykema Gossett PLLC and has been practicing in DuPage County for more than 25 years. He has been active in the DuPage County Bar Association and served as chairman of the Civil Practice and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He has served two terms as a board member of Garden Center Services Inc., a nonprofit agency that provides residential and workshop facilities for developmentally disabled adults.
“Jennifer and Scott will both be tremendous assets to the Friends board,” said Forest Preserve District of DuPage County President Joe Cantore. “They can be counted on to be true advocates for District initiatives.”
